Actions: Expels and kills various intestinal parasites.
Presentation: Intestinal parasites: intermittent severe pain migrating up and down the abdomen, nausea, and vomiting of clear fluids or parasites.
Cautions:
- Qian Dan (Minium) is a potentially toxic heavy metal, rarely used today; most products remove or substitute it

- Contraindicated in pregnancy and with loose stools or diarrhea
- Give tonic herbs (Spleen/Stomach qi tonics) after parasites are cleared to restore zheng qi
