Description
Hei Hu Dan (Black-Tiger Elixir), from Great Preciousness of Health (Wei Sheng Hong Bao).
Actions: Relieve swelling and discharge pus. Indicated for the treatment of carbuncle-abscess or flowing phlegm (tuberculosis of bone and joint) caused by yang deficiency and cold congealing, and binding of phlegm and stasis, with ulceration, incomplete pus and slough like rotted cotton, diffuse swelling, no change of the skin color, no warm of the four limbs, pale tongue with thin and white coating, and moderate pulse
Indications: Its use is prohibited in patients with carbuncle-abscess with yang pattern

Preparation
Grind the ingredients into powder, make into elixirs, apply a little on the top of sore, and cover with Grand Yi Ointment ( tai yi gao ), change dressings, once per 2 days
